MARRY Me Krystals creator and owner Susi Rigg has a creative background as a costume designer, dresser and milliner for film, theatre and ballet.
Her vision is to create stylish, fun and creative looks for the bride-to-be, whether for a hen’s night, kitchen tea or a gift for the bridal party.
Susi draws on her theatrical stage and film background, where she worked on period productions with beautiful fabrics and trims, to introduce looks which create a character by using tulle, silk, lace, feathers and vintage pieces from her collection, together with Swarovski crystal elements.
Whether it be a Marie Antoinette look with a pink bride singlet trimmed with Swarovski
crystal elements or a black ensemble with a feathered mini top hat and leopard-print apron, Susi can put it together for you.
Swarovski crystal elements can also be applied to silk or satin sashes or bows mounted into an Alice band with veil attached and bride motif – a gorgeous keepsake for the bride.
Motifs include bride, bridesmaid, just married, flower girl or your newly-married name.
Personalised motifs can be made up and applied to suitable garments for newborn babies, ballerinas, princesses and teddy bears.
Susi has worked in film with Heath Ledger in Ned Kelly and Hugh Jackman for a year in musical theatre production Beauty and the Beast.
Just in case you hadn’t heard of Susi before, and to put more feathers in her already crowded cap, she recently worked on the movies Red Dog and Drift.
