THE modern girl knows exactly what she wants from life and fashion.

She may mix designer with high street with vintage but, until now, lingerie for this girl has been a problem.

Enter DimitySO with a new lingerie line in sizes D to J, only just hitting the streets with Perth girl and Australia’s Next Top Model 2009 winner Tahnee Atkinson recruited as the face of the new label.

No longer must fashionable women with D to J cup sizes be lost in a sea of beige or stuck with a less than glamorous bra, just to find the right fit.

The concept behind the brand – which launched globally earlier this year – is fascinating.

An email went out looking for girls with D-size cups or larger with the response being overwhelming, resulting in a huge casting call in major cities around the country.

The girls chosen for the shoot were Drea, who is an 8DD 20-year-old artist, pin-up enthusiast, vintage fashionista and future design student.

Nat is a 12F actor/singer and coffee-maker who in the past two years lost almost 30kg and  has dropped from a size 20 to a 12-14.

Meanwhile, Laila is a 10DD final-year social science student.

The range itself encompasses fabrics that are luxurious with prints and details that are fun, fresh and exciting.

Vintage-inspired fabrics feature stretch lace, ridged tulles, satin edging, fishnet mesh, stretch satin, two-toned lace, and carefully selected vintage-style floral prints.

D is the new B and this new brand and campaign is important in letting larger-busted girls out there know that lingerie can be  fun, fresh and fashionable.

The range is endeavouring to address the changing shape of women who have struggled to find a good-fitting bra.

DimitySO is available at David Jones and select lingerie stores.
