A KEEN awareness of social media has helped Altitude Real Estate stay ahead of the game.

As the Subiaco agency celebrated four years of business, director Paul Tonich is pleased with what the team has achieved in a short time.

“Now more than ever, agents need a firm grasp of technology and how it can propel business forward,” he said.

“We were one of the first agencies to really capitalise on social media as a selling tool and our Facebook page boasts more than 9000 followers.

“The reach of digital media far outweighs that of usual advertising and in this information age, we need to be one step ahead of consumers who already have all the information at their finger tips.”

The agency’s motto of ‘excellence in all suburbs’ is no doubt drawn from Mr Tonich’s impressive background in the industry.

“After a successful career in the police force, I helped launch Force Real Estate in the northern suburbs 15 years ago,” he said.

“During the nine years I spent with the agency, I personally sold 2000 homes, totalling $500 million – I was the top salesperson in the state for six years in a row and ranked in the top five selling agents nationally.

“My cousin Nathan Tonich has been alongside me the whole time – together we went on to launch Altitude in Subiaco as it offered a prime central location, allowing us to work across all suburbs in a diverse capacity.”
