POLICE are guarding a house in Melbourne's north where two people were taken away for questioning over the disappearance of Melbourne millionaire Herman Rockefeller.
Police raided the South Street, Hadfield property overnight. A 57-year-old man and 41-year-old woman were taken into custody, the Herald-Sun has reported.
Detectives and forensic experts combed the townhouse night for any evidence Mr Rockefeller had been there, while officers reportedly asked neighbours if they had seen the missing man or his car.
The Hadfield pair are currently assisting police with their enquiries and no charges have been laid.
