GOSNELLS Golf Club will have two representatives in the Australian Interstate Teams Matches Tournament.

Ray Chow and Jarryd Felton were both named in WA’s eight-man squad announced last week.

Chow represented the team last year and was looking forward to teeing off with his friends again.

“I really enjoy playing team golf, you can feed off each other and everyone lifts their games.

“It's a good to travel with and get to know your team-mates.

“When you're struggling you have people to lift you back on your feet, but when you're on your own you have to dig yourself out.”

The 25-year-old said he was happy with his form going into the tournament.

“I've been playing fairly well over the last six months; my scores have been getting steadily lower.”

Team-mate Jarryd Felton is eight years Chow's junior but will head into the tournament with confidence having won the Junior Match Play Championship earlier this year.

The competition takes place in South Australia in May.
