AN OUTDOOR stage at Sandalford Wines – claimed to be one of the biggest in the world – took three days, four cranes and 35 men to construct last month.
Sandalford Wines’ chief executive Grant Brinklow said the stage was built for Sting’s recent performance, but would remain on site until the end of the concert season.
“Prior to its installation, the stage was used for the Muse concert at Bassendean Oval in December, 2010,” he said.
Other acts to grace the stage will include Michael Bublé.
