Comments:

A SCARBOROUGH man is still in hospital after the top of his ear was bitten off during St Patrick’s Day celebrations in Subiaco.

The victim is expected to have reconstructive surgery this week.

Western Suburbs detectives are seeking information from the public after releasing images of a group of three men believed to have been involved.

Police said the victim was standing outside the Subiaco Hotel on Rokeby Road talking with friends when it is believed a group of three men, who had been ejected from the hotel, walked past and overheard a comment about their behaviour.

The men knocked him to the ground then kicked and punched him before one man bit his ear.

The first offender was described as being 40 to 45, 170cm tall, fair with short curly dark hair with a stocky to large build.

The other two men were described as being between 20 and 25 years old.

Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
