A CARLISLE woman aged in her 80s has become WA’s latest Lotto millionaire after she won $1.4million in Saturday’s Lotto draw.
The woman said that over the past six weeks she “had a feeling” that she was going to win Lotto.
“Each Saturday I would think, it’s my turn tonight,” she said.
“I even said to my granddaughter, if I win Lotto tonight I’ll get you a present, and then I did.
“I was still a bit shocked when I first crossed off the six winning numbers, but strangely my heart didn’t pound to hard and I was quite calm.”
The woman was a regular Lotto player and bought the winning 18-game Slikpik from Here’s Luck Lottery Centre in Cloverdale.
It is the second Division One ticket the store has sold in two months after it sold a $1million Division One ticket in July.
The woman said planned to share the money with family and go travelling. She is even considering a cruise on the luxurious Cunard liner Queen Elizabeth.
