A GIRL Guide unit will be starting in Ellenbrook next month and interested girls are encouraged to join.

Talia Catlin and Jasmine, Courtney and Grace Paine will form the founding group of girl guides in Ellenbrook.

Girls aged between five and 14 are invited to attend a registration day on Thursday, July 1, at the Woodlake Community Centre from 6 to 8pm.

With 2010 being the Year of the Girl Guide, those who join up will be able to take part in activities celebrating 100 years of guiding in Australia.
