FOUR would-be ghost hunters were busted by security officers at the old Swanbourne Hospital on Saturday night.

Police said two men (28 and 20) and two women (20 and 22) had brought an electro-magnetic field device - bought from a ghost hunting equipment website - to the Mt Claremont building, which is said to be haunted.

The four were seen by patrol staff carrying torches in the disused building.

They will be summonsed to appear at Perth Magistrates Court in September.

I was an RN at Swanbourne/Graylands Hospital until my retirement in 1996 and there definitely were ghosts there. I have experienced 2 of them while on night-shift but not scary. I had heard many stories about the ghosts there but never believed them until my experience.
