TWO local drivers escaped unharmed from this spectacular crash in World Series Sprintcars at Perth Motorplex in Kwinana at the weekend.
The cars of Wanneroo's Luch Monte (No. 17) and Stirling's David Priolo flipped over after coming into contact in some close and exciting racing.
The safety team was quickly into action, putting out a small fire on Priolo's vehicle sprintcar as both racers emerged unscathed.
Sydney's Ian Madsen came away with the overall honours.
