A DOG which was stolen from the City of Stirling’s Animal Care Facility the day before it was due to be put down is still missing.

A City of Stirling spokeswoman said the dog– which is described as a tan and white akita answering to the name of Kunsah – was stolen from the Balcatta pound in the early hours of Thursday, August 8.

She said rangers and city staff were concerned because they believe the dog, which attacked two Karrinyup men, is dangerous.

Anyone with information should call City of Stirling rangers on 9345 8555 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

my uncles old dog kunza, a japanese akita, the sweetest most beautiful dog was just on the channel 7 news, missing and looking to be put down!

my uncle got him when i was only about eight years old, which would be eight years ago now.. when he was just a puppy and even a few years ago when i last saw kunsa, he was honestly so calm and peaceful and wouldn’t hurt a fly. he would play with me and my younger brother and other kids in the street where we lived fine, and wouldn’t be even remotely rough.

but in saying this, the last time i saw him was when i was about twelve - he still behaved like the most adorable, precious dog though. but unfortunately my uncle as well as my dad who used to look after him are extremely irresponsible on so many levels.. and so kunza used to get out of the backyard and get taken to the pound numerous times as a result.

kunza then went with my uncles friend rocco who had another japanese akita, to live. i don’t talk to my dad or uncle very much at all now

I think you could have done better on the headline.
I came up with some alternatives for this story.
