Mrs Hodgkins – who worked as personal assistant to CEO Vaughan Harding – was acknowledged for her work at a special ceremony on June 24th, marking UCH’s 60th anniversary.
Mr Harding said the event was a great occasion to recognise Mrs Hodgkins and others who had contributed to the organisation during a time of change.
“UCH’s 60th anniversary is an important opportunity for us to thank Marilyn, and others like her, who have made a commitment to help and care for older people in the community through their involvement with our organisation,” he said.
“Marilyn is one of the quiet achievers in the community who, over more than 15 years, has helped to make a real and very positive difference to other people’s lives, and I sincerely thank her on behalf of UCH for her many years of dedication.”
Sixty West Australians altogether were recognized for their contribution to UCH, at the first of several events marking the 60th anniversary.
