THORNLIE Leisure World fitness instructor Pauline Hodgson received a gold excellence award for her service to seniors over many years from the WA Council on the Ageing.

Ms Hodgson was a finalist in the most outstanding metropolitan instructor award.

Leisure World was in the top three of the most outstanding metropolitan providers of fitness programs for seniors in the Living Longer, Living Stronger Excellence Awards.

“This is an outstanding achievement by the City with a great deal of work and effort being put in by all concerned,” Cr Searle said.

“To reach the top three in these categories from a huge field of more than 1000 entries around the State is a fantastic result.”
