RUTH Jenkins, director of SINA Solutions in Lathlain has added one more accomplishment to her resume.
Ms Jenkins has released an app for the iPad and iPhone, which provides an easier way for business owners or occupational health and safety employees to complete safety reports that comply with the requirements of a Health, Safety and Environment Audit.
Ms Jenkins said the Sina Safety Audit app was relevant to all business owners and personnel responsible for the Occupational Health and Safety within an organisation.
“Employers have a duty of care to provide safe and hazard free working environments,” she said.
“Penalties, possible injuries and loss of business become prevalent when safety and regular auditing is neglected.”
The auditor can select a simple yes/no as to whether the object in question is compliant.
The auditor also has the ability to make comments or take photos of hazards.
Reports are given a compliance score and are stored on your own web portal for reference.
