THE Hollywood Fertility Centre has opened a new clinic in Mandurah to cater for increased demand for fertility services south of Perth.
General manager Colin La Galia said the centre was the only true fertility clinic south of the metropolitan area and covered Mandurah, Rockingham Kwinana and rural/remote areas in the south-west.
Mr La Galia said there were many women in the region in the 24-40 age group wanting to start or increase the size of their family who could benefit from IVF and other assisted conception techniques.
He said the Mandurah clinic offered a ‘one-stop shop’ approach close to home so that undergoing fertility treatment had much less of an impact on patients’ daily lives and busy schedules.
Specialist fertility services at the clinic are provided mainly by Dr Bill Patton who has more than 30 years obstetrics and gynaecology experience in the Mandurah region.
Ongoing patient care and support will be provided by a dedicated team of nursing staff.
