THE friendliest Skyshow ever was my experience this year. As usual I joined the volunteers and had a fabulous time making sure that everyone else did too.
The day was hot and the smiles were wide, especially in the IGA watermelon tent and at the SPYN Silent Disco. Numbers were down but Perth’s friendliness was on show.
Lots more people enjoyed the show with their friends and neighbours by just bringing chairs out on the street in Manning and Como, sharing nibbles and a cool drink, while enjoying the rockets and lightning.
What a way to celebrate being Australian together.
