DURING the past 10 years I have lived in Midland, the use of our roads has increased dramatically.
If this continues at its present rate, then, soon the word “gridlock” will become a normal word in our vocabulary.
This can be avoided if, and only if, our public transport system is improved.
To deny funds to extend our rail system, can only exacerbate this problem, and lead to greater spending in the future.
