WHEN is it anticipated that the road through Bullsbrook will be widened?
At the moment, all traffic, from motor cycles to heavy haulage vehicles travelling north or south, go through Bullsbrook.
On some days, the traffic police are required to control not only the flow of traffic but also to ensure that the traffic can actually travel through the town because the road is not wide enough.
Great Northern Highway at either end of the town has been widened and improved, so traffic travelling from the north or the south has ease of movement.
With the industrial estate on the south side of the town now ready for use and the planned cattle yards to be constructed at the northern end of town, the traffic problems will be multiplied.
What proposals are in place to end this town congestion?
And what are the time frames for that before any further serious road injuries occur when dual lanes combine into a single lane?
As I gaze at the windows of the businesses in the middle of town I wonder how is their business affected by the traffic problem?
How much are the residents of Bullsbrook suffering, and for how much longer will they have to endure the circumstance?
