Things to do in Perth before you die of boredom.

A few blogs ago (you know, when I was updating the blog more frequently) I mentioned a few little known and perhaps a little crazy activities that I would like to try in Perth. I made a few offhand comments about how these activities would probably never get off the ground in this ville of thrills.
How wrong I was.
Not long after the blog entry I was searching on Facebook.... more »

Maybe it was the company. Maybe it was Mondayitis. Maybe it was the late hour. Maybe it was me. Maybe it was them.
Whatever it was I can’t say that I enjoyed my experience at Dr Sketchy’s. I expected more. This is silly of me because expectations are often my downfall. What I’m trying to say is this: I did not enjoy my time at Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School. more »

For years, I have managed to successfully dodge the City to Surf.
It’s not that I don’t want to do it. It’s just that it seems like such hard work. Then there’s the cost involved and having to register and all this pre-planning and training that goes into it. I watch Winnie the Pooh and get a mad craving for hibernation and honey. And just this weekend I watch ‘Hell on Wheels’, a documentary about a group of women in Austin Texas who formed an all-girl roller derby, and you guessed it – I decide to take up.... more »

This is NOT my usual style of post. This is NOT about taking up a hobby. This is about the perils and 'excitement' of public transport in Thrillsville.
Now, everyone knows there is NO parking in Perth. No parking anywhere. You know it, I know it and someone named WILSON knows it. Wilson knows it and that is why he charges you a f***ing.... more »

Last year I saw Pink.
Pink, live in concert, at Challenge Stadium, on her I’m Not Dead tour.
I wasn’t a huge fan before then, in fact, before the concert, anytime I heard the song Get the Party Started I wanted to throw myself off the highest building (plummeting to certain death) screaming “Damn you Pink! I will not get this party started! I don’t care if.... more »
