Day to day goings on of a frazzled and frizzy Mother of 3 who says it like it is : Parenting by the seat of my Mummy-Tummy shaping, kidney-hugging underpants.

Yes it has been a while, and so I've prepared a few decent explanations (definitely not excuses) for you....
1. I've been away. Actually this is more an opportunity for me to brag. It was a whirlwind 30hr trip, but I spent much time obssessing and planning prior to the trip. You see, I was one of only two WA blogger's that Kellogg's flew to Adelaide for a.... more »

Hear ye, hear ye.... November is Movember.
And it's not just for men going for one of two looks :
1 - Rugged, Aussie male capable of putting together an Ikea flat pack without an Allen key or instructional diagram.
2 - Metrosexual desk jockeys who wear lilac coloured striped shirts with darker purple.... more »

I don't know if you noticed, but Twitter went down today.
It went offline for all of 10 minutes - but it was ten of the longest minutes of my life.
And that's including childbirth, attending the long wedding ceremonies of complete strangers, and school assemblies.
I thought something was wrong with my mobile phone, as I was out at the shops when the.... more »

The house is full of tension and arguments today. Not the kids, this time. It's #1Hubby and I.

He'll be going twice more before Christmas, plus numerous time next year, and in amongst various other work trips around Aus.
I'll be at home with the kids. As usual.
Which is not to say that I don't like being at home with the kids. I.... more »

Miss5 attends school assembly as a precursor to mainstream Year 1 schooling next year. It doesn't actually have any relevance to her Pre-Primary self. Or her Pre-Primary parents.
And it takes place FORTNIGHTLY. Seriously - what can they possibly have to announce, that warrants such fanfair on a fortnightly basis?
It is excruciatingly long and.... more »

So it's been a while, and I apologise.
I received a couple of, not just negative, but downright mean and nasty comments on my last two posts. I deleted them, so you won't find them there. And if those 2 people are reading this - please know that I will keep deleting them if you continue to post them.
You see, I'm all for constructive criticism, even of the negative kind. But what was.... more »

At the moment I'm operating in survival mode. #1 Hubby is in Bali on a work conference. I'm so enjoying the "merry" phone calls home, from the pool bar, after a lengthy indulgence in the free drinks his company have so thoughtfully provided. The only reason I'm not exposing the kids to some new "shed words" when he rings all loved up and tipsy, is because I know that it's my.... more »
