About TS Perth, Australian Navy Cadets Aims of TS Perth The aim of TS Perth is: ·- to develop an interest in the Navy and its traditions; ·- to encourage cadets to continue military or community service; ·- to give cadets a foundation of military knowledge and discipline; ·- to develop the qualities of leadership, self-discipline, self-reliance and initiative; and ·- to introduce cadets to sailing and power boat activities. What Will I Gain as a Cadet of TS Perth? As a Navy cadet, you'll get to explore your full potential, develop confidence, self-discipline, learn a range of skills, make friends and along the way have some serious fun. The skills and experience you learn from Navy cadets will stay with you for life. "When I first joined cadets I was very shy and wouldn't talk much. Now, if you ever get the chance to meet me, I can't be quiet. I'm a lot more self confident about who I am and my strengths and weaknesses. Cadets teaches us how to embrace your strengths and develop your weaknesses." "Cadets has given me so much!!!!!!! Such things as friends, leadership skills, sailing and boating qualifications, communication skills and a First Aid Certificate just to name a few. TS Perth hit the road again

Staff and Cadets from TS Perth are again preparing to hit the road on our annual charity bike ride between Mundaring and Kalgoorlie, this time to raise much needed funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. The cadets will take turns riding mountain bikes along the 500 kilometer distance between setting off and reaching our destination, stopping along the way to collect donations. Cadets from TS Perth will be performing a Ceremonial Drill display at this years Celebrate Maritime Day in Fremantle. Come down and show your support to the cadets, have a look around a warship and grab some giveaways from the many organisations also attending this activity. TS Perth Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser

TS Perth will be conducting a sausage sizzle at Bunning's O'Conner over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of July 2011 to raise much needed funds which will contribute to subsidising many of the activities and learning modules undertaken by the cadets. The cadets of TS Perth reaffirmed their commitment to both the Australian Navy Cadets and the Community in general today by going above and beyond in their participation at the unveiling of a Memorial commemorating 50 years of Junior Recruits at HMAS Leeuwin in Fremantle (now Leeuwin Barracks). TS Perth American Independence Day

TS Perth Staff and cadets had a great time yesterday at the Australian American Association 4th of July fair in Kardinya. The Navy cadet stand attracted lots of attention and information pamphlets, along with some ANC recruiting giveaways were handed out to many of the days attendees. The cadets did a brilliant job acting as escort for the USA Consul General and his wife leading them to the stage.... more »

TS Perth head to Singapore

TS Perth are heading to Singapore in July 2011. The plan is to head to Singapore for 10 days over the July school holidays in 2011 to pay homage to the Prisoners of War from World War 2, see some of the many important sites which have helped shape the world since the war ended, meet many new friends, experience great food and the Singaporean lifestyle. TS Perth AFL Grand Final

TS Perth are showing the AFL Grand Final on the big screen on Saturday25 September at Irwin Barracks in Karrakatta. Come along and cheer for your team or just cheer for anyone if your team is not playing in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
The days activities start at 1200 Mid day and only end when the final siren sounds.

TS Perth Quiz Night

TS Perth are conducting a quiz night on Saturday 21 August at Leeuwin Barracks in East Fremantle starting at 1900. There is a professional quiz master as compere and lots of fun to be had by all. There are also some very good auction items to bid on such as a family pass onboard STS Leeuwin, weekend accommodation at Ningaloo Bed and Breakfast, golf for two people at Burswood and two lunch/dinner.... more »
