THIS pleasant neighbourhood eatery has recently made a stellar reputation for itself serving up creative gourmet breakfasts and homemade cakes and desserts.
Those of you who live locally will be happy to know a dinner menu has just been launched, also standing up to a highly set benchmark.
Set on a quiet residential street, the cafe offers a convivial atmosphere as solo patrons enjoy a glass of BYO vino with their meal as they add entries to their journal while groups of friends and family soak up the leisurely vibe, laughing and joking.
Some highlights on the evening menu include the Lumos paella - a generous serving of grilled chicken tenderloins, smoky chorizo, fresh mussels, grilled prawns and calamari on saffron rice with tortilla to the side.
The Moroccan lamb cutlets offers four generous sized premium grilled lamb cutlets marinated in rosemary, thyme and garlic, resting on Moroccan string beans, slow roasted beetroot and topped with the café’s own signature pesto oil.
There’s also a tantalising selection of entrees to choose from - try the field mushroom and haloumi stack for a sweet and salty treat comprising of huge slabs of roasted pumpkin, mushroom and haloumi all delicately drizzled with the finest extra virgin olive oil.
Owners Marcus and Leon source local produce where possible and offer plenty of choice with an changing weekly special's menu.
The menu is creative and the staff are abundantly friendly and on the mark.
Definitely worth a drop in on one of the balmy summer evenings ahead.
