A DOCUMENTARY on the world of eBay addiction has won the people’s choice award at the Fremantle Bohemian Shorts film competition.

Mel Judkins and Tasha Stephenson’s film I will NOT be outbid! beat 14 local, national and international films to win the prize.

“The funny and candid accounts of the characters in the film make it a real crowd pleaser,” Stephenson said.

Judkins and Steph-enson’s previous film Where’s My Lolly Bag? exposed the politics of children’s birthday parties and won last year’s WA Screen Award for best documentary.

“We enjoy making quirky, entertaining films about the simple yet secretive things that are happening in our suburbs,” Stephenson said.

I Will NOT Be Outbid! has also been nominated for this year’s WA Screen Awards. The winners will be announced in March.
