BEFORE too long, the days will be defined by blazing sunshine, sweaty bodies and, of course, summer music festivals.
Epitomising the season is electronic event Summadayze, which in 2011 will take place on a Saturday (January 8) for the first time in its 12 year history, while returning to familiar surrounds at the dual base of The Esplanade and Supreme Court Gardens in the heart of the city.
The next instalment will deliver the likes of the world's reigning number one DJ Armin Van Buuren - who will only play the Perth and Gold Coast legs - France's Grammy Award-winning international producer du jour and hit-maker David Guetta, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo's rock-funking N*E*R*D, Montreal-based electro-funk duo Chromeo and fast-rising Aussies Miami Horror.
Other names include Bob Sinclair, Erol Alkan, Rivastarr, Aeroplane and many more.
